We welcome you to Stafford Villa and Auckland, City of Sails. Stafford Villa, is a gracious historic double bay villa, one of the original homes in Birkenhead Point, lovingly restored in 1999. The house has many historic architectural features. Member of the New Zealand Historic Trust, and a Heritage House in the Borough of Birkenhead. All Inclusive: Full five course breakfast, fresh fruits and flowers, chocolates / home made fudge, tea and coffee facilities, sherry and port, special toiletries and lots of little extras. You will also recieve afternoon tea on arrival and pre - dinner aperitif and canapes. Television, VCR, stereo, guest telephone, fax points selection of teas, coffee and home made cookies. Fluffy bathrobes in winter and kimonos in summer. New Zealand natural aromatherapy toiletries, lots of large fluffy towels and fresh flowers. Your sumptious gourmet breakfast with local fruit and vegetables can be served in your room, the dining room or out on the garden patio. We cater for any special requests or dietary requirements. Organic produce is used whenever possible. View our sample gourmet breakfast menu. The library offers a large selection of reading material, video and CD library, complimentary sherry and port. Golf, tennis, cruise in the harbour, climb the Auckland harbour bridge, fish in the Waitamata, nature walks, restaurants and cafes or just relax in our Victorian garden with a good book. We can arrange a picnic luncheon hamper or a formal dinner with chef and butler.
Normal departure times are 11.00am, arrival times from 3pm. For arrivals and departures outside these times please advise at time of reservation. For early morning arrivals we suggest you pre-book your room the previous night to check in immediately. Reservations are essential.

China Blue: has a magnificent carved mahogany four poster bed, antique furniture, original paintings, luxurious en-suite with bath and shower, dressing room area, with access to a private verandah overlooking the tropical garden.
Tuscany Summer: with large bay window, looks out onto the remaining Victorian orchard, the furnishings are in antique cream and terracotta, antique armoire, and Victorian brass beds are a major feature in the room. Private ensuite facilities with bath and shower.
The Library: is available for guests for morning coffee or pre dinner drinks, books, videos, music, magazines and complimentary access to the Internet for the traveler who wishes to work whilst away from the office or home.
Drawing Room: is an elegant warm sunny room to relax and read, the large bay window overlooks the lower garden, easy access to the verandah, rose garden and alfresco dining.
The Conservatory: is tucked in between the kitchen and the garden. Access to the garden is from the circular Victorian staircase. The interior walls are clad in tongue and groove panels, the windows from a demolished Victorian Villa add the charm of the Victorian era. Here you can have a romantic breakfast, afternoon tea or just relax and read.
The Verandah provides an escape into the fragrance of roses and lavender or the opportunity to rest in the colonial cane furniture.
