Remarkables Lodge. Nestled in a stunning location at the foothills of the imposing Remarkables mountain range, the Lodge is set in two acres of peaceful, landscaped gardens. Yet we're only fifteen minutes from New Zealand's premiere travel destination, Queenstown. This is a magical place at any time of year. Escape the madding crowd in the quiet luxury of Remarkables Lodge, the only Queenstown member of the exclusive New Zealand Lodge Association. Up to eight privileged guests can share this experience at any time of the year. In the evening you can enjoy a quiet drink, play pool in the games room or just relax in the jacuzzi and leave the troubles of the world far behind.

The Lodge is the only Queenstown member of the exclusive New Zealand Lodge Association which includes Huka, Blanket Bay, and Grasmere Lodges. Accommodation:
Lodge Rooms:
There are three comfortable lodge rooms, two have mountain views and one looks towards Lake Wakatipu. All are ensuite (one has a spa bath/shower and the other two have showers). Two of the rooms have superking beds that can be converted to twin beds. Lodge Suites:
Wakatipu Suite: Enjoy beautiful sunsets from this luxurious suite with superking/twin bed, large ensuite bathroom and relaxing sitting area.
Remarkables Suite: Wake up to the sunrise over the mountains from this lovely suite that offers a kingsize bed, ensuite bathroom, balcony and sumptuous furnishings. Deluxe Suites:
Garden Suite: This charming suite located in the garden, adjacent to the house, offers privacy and seclusion. It has a superking/twin bed, a cosy sitting area with a sofa bed and a large bathroom with separate shower and Jacuzzi bath. Jardine Suite:
The supreme lodge suite. Facing north it offers sunny, luxurious accommodation with a superking/twin bed and spacious sitting area with sofa bed, ensuite bathroom and balconies looking towards the mountains and the lake.
Weddings: Remarkables Lodge is the ideal venue for weddings. All equipment can be supplied to order and for total privacy, exclusive use is available. Activities: - In Summer enjoy lounging by the pool, having a quiet game of tennis or on balmy evenings, taking a gentle stroll through our private gardens.
- Several nearby walks take you through a landscape of high jagged peaks, reflective tarns and meadows of alpine flowers. This is a peaceful and relaxing place.
- Just a 30 minute flight away you'll find one of the great wonders of the world, Milford Sound, with cascading waterfalls, lush native bush and the mighty Mitre Peak.
- Golf - One of the Wakatipu's world class golf courses, Millbrook Resort, the course designed by New Zealand golfing legend, Sir Bob Charles. It's a stunning par 72 championship course - the only one former American president Bill Clinton played on during his trip to New Zealand, Kelvin Heights, the home of the Queenstown Golf Club.
- If you'd prefer a spot of fishing, this area is famous for it's many lakes and rivers. Our experienced guides will lead you to those secret places where rainbow and brown trout congregate in gin clear mountain streams.
- Adrenalin adventure including bungy jumping, Nevis high wire, Parabungy, jet boat rides, rafting, river surfing, mountain biking, canyoning, the world's highest bridge swing.
- Coronet Peak, Cardrona and Treble Cone are within easy driving distance, making it the perfect winter retreat.
Breakfast will set you up for the day with hot pastries, bottled fruit from the garden and a scrumptious cooked breakfast. Après ski includes gluhwein, hot chocolate, home baked pastries and a roaring fire. Relax in the cosy bar, have a game of pool or curl up with a good book. A couple of times a week we offer a gourmet dinner with local wines, so after skiing you can have a soak in the bath and relax while the chef prepares a delicious dinner. Our reputation for personal service says it all. Rates are based on two people and include GST, Breakfast & Dinner, Refreshments, Use of all Lodge facilities.
