Alpine Express Flight If you have time for an ‘out of this world' experience in less than half an hour, then this flight is for you. This majestic flight will land you amongst the jewels of the Southern Alps. Dramatic mountains expose their rugged faces and snow clad spines. Enjoy spectacular views into the Mackenzie Basin and over Lake Pukaki before an alpine landing overlooking ancient glacial terrain. Take time out on top of the world! All flights have a minimum passenger number for departures. Bookings will be accepted for numbers less than the required minimum as we will co-ordinate to achieve the required minimum. Clients are required to reconfirm their reservation the day prior to flying by calling The Helicopter Line base where they have booked to fly. A Courtesy Coach is available at all locations for transfers to and from central locations. Should inclement weather prevent a flight at the booked location, the same booking will be accepted at any of The Helicopter Line bases for a flight of similar duration and price. Child rates for scenic helicopter flights are based on 70% of the Adult rate. A child is 14 years and under and must be accompanied by a fare paying adult. Prices are subject to change. The Helicopter Line operates charter flights for all types of Helicopter work from all of our operating bases. Charter rates are quoted on a per flying hour, or parts thereof, per aircraft basis (not per person).
