New Zealand Riverjet is the only place in New Zealand where you can jet boat to a thermal reserve and experience two of New Zealand’s best icons, jet boating and geothermal, combined to form the Riverjet Thermal Safari.

Based between Taupo and Rotorua, the New Zealand Riverjet offers a complete package which includes a journey down the mighty Waikato River (the country’s longest river) introducing you to a slice of New Zealand scenery only a select few have ever seen. See abundant bird life, pine forests, steaming volcanic riverbanks and trout feeding areas on your way to the surreal geothermal area of Orakei Korako – described by the world-renowned Lonely Planet Guide as “possibly the best thermal area left in New Zealand”.

At stops along the way your driver/guide will explain about the history of the area and its wildlife. The boat performs 360-degree spins to give our customers a real thrill ride but the true emphasis is the natural environment which is our highest priority.
