| Huka Jet - Jet boating at it's most exhilarating! It's 30 minutes of pure fun and exhilaration, skimming close to cliffs with centimetres to spare, sliding past trees and feeling the adrenaline of our full 360° spins. The excitement continues right up to the base of the foaming Huka Falls, one of New Zealand's most visited natural attractions. For a spectacular water level view nothing compares to watching 220,000 litres of Waikato River water per second tumble over the cliff face toward you. The Waikato River is used to develop hydro power. See the force of the water coming over the Huka Falls. Geothermal power underground produces the hot steamy water. Feel the power of your 496 Chevrolet V8 as you speed through the beautiful deep green water and shallow grassy river edges, past the Wairakei Thermal Power Station (the 1st in the world) the Prawn Park and the Aratiatia Dam. The river environment is beautiful, varied and unique - its the Waikato River - New Zealand’s longest, which is used to develop hydro power, flows north from our largest lake - Lake Taupo.
