Travel North from Wellington to Auckland stopping on the way to take in Napier, Rotorua and the deep caves of Waitomo.

Day One - Wellington 
Arrive in Wellington – New Zealand’s lively capital city - and transfer to YHA Wellington City.

Overnight: YHA Wellington City

Day Two - Wellington - Napier 
InterCity Coach departs Wellington 07:45
Arrives in Napier at 13:00

Head North from Wellington to Napier to experience all the Hawke's Bay has to offer - sun, surf, orchards, wineries, cafes.

Overnight: YHA Napier

Day Three - Napier 
Today you may choose to visit Cape Kidnappers or take part in a full day winery tour. The Cape is home to the world's only mainland gannet nesting site. The gannets usually arrive in late July, lay their eggs in October and November, then start to migrate north in March. You do not need a special permit to visit the colony but note the best times to visit the Cape are from late July to February.

Day Four - Napier - Rotorua 
InterCity Coach departs Napier at 13:10
Arrives in Rotorua at 17:00

After your stay in Napier, prepare yourself for your next stop - Rotorua. Rotorua truly is an adventure playground with endless thrill, leisure and sporting options. Mountain bike on some of the world’s best tracks, roll downhill in the N.Z. designed Zorb or go luging, another world first by innovative Kiwis. Run into the mouth of a volcano or raft the world’s highest waterfall, the list goes on and on.

Day Five - Rotorua
Newmans Coach - Pick-up from hostel at 07:15
Drop Off at hostel at 12:30
This morning you will join the Rotorua Sightseeing Tour and take in the sights, sounds and smells that make Rotorua so unique. The tour will visit Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve, Paradise Springs and the Agrodome.

This afternoon you are free to explore the city at your own leisure.

Overnight: YHA Rotorua

Day Six - Rotorua - Auckland (via Waitomo Caves)
Newmans Coach departs Rotorua at 08:45
Arrives in Auckland at 16:50

The coach will stop for lunch in the King Country at the Big Apple Orchard. After lunch continue travelling south to Waitomo Caves. Upon arrival at Waitomo you will join a guided tour of the Caves. Aranui Cave's chambers are adorned with stalagmites and stalactites. Then board the boat and glide silently through the glowworm grotto. Return to daylight, reboard the coach and continue on to Auckland.

Tour ends upon arrival in Auckland.

Prices are per person and include all prebooked accommodation, transport and Rotorua Morning tour. Please note unless specified otherwise meals and optional activities are not included in the price of the tour.
